Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled, friendly, and detail-oriented Airbrush Spray Tan & Salt Room Technician to provide professional sunless tanning services in our salon and wellness studio. This role focuses on delivering customized, natural-looking spray tans while ensuring every guest feels comfortable, confident, and well cared for during their visit.

Our studio offers services including sugaring hair removal, sunless airbrush tanning, halotherapy (salt therapy), and marine body wraps. The ideal candidate is passionate about beauty and skincare, enjoys working with clients, and takes pride in creating flawless, natural-looking results.

Key Responsibilities

Airbrush Tanning

• Perform professional airbrush spray tanning services for clients
• Customize tanning solutions and techniques based on skin tone and desired results
• Ensure even, natural-looking application while maintaining client comfort
• Maintain a clean and professional tanning environment

Salt Room Management

• Welcome clients into the salt room and ensure they are comfortable before each session
• Load the halogenerator and start each 45-minute halotherapy session
• Monitor session timing and prepare the room for the next group during the 15-minute turnover window
• Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation of the salt room at all times

Guest Experience

• Create a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests
• Explain the spray tanning process and answer client questions
• Provide clear pre-care and aftercare instructions to ensure the best tanning results
• Help guests feel confident and satisfied with their service

Retail & Service Sales

• Recommend appropriate aftercare and skincare products to extend the life of a spray tan
• Educate guests about additional salon services such as sugaring, halotherapy, and body wraps
• Support monthly retail and service sales goals

Studio Maintenance & Sanitation

• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized spray tanning area
• Follow all hygiene and safety protocols for spray tanning services
• Ensure tanning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stocked

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with the front desk team to manage scheduling and client flow
• Maintain accurate client notes and service records
• Support a positive, professional team environment

Qualifications

• Experience performing professional spray tanning services preferred
• Strong understanding of spray tanning techniques and skin tone matching
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver consistent results
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
