Guest Experience Coordinator



Position Overview

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and service-oriented Guest Experience Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our salon and wellness studio. This role is responsible for greeting guests, managing appointment scheduling, processing payments, and assisting with retail and service sales.

Our studio offers a variety of services including sugaring hair removal, sunless airbrush tanning, halotherapy (salt therapy), and marine body wraps. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about creating an exceptional guest experience from the moment clients walk through the door.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience

  • Welcome guests with a warm and professional attitude
  • Check clients in and out for appointments
  • Ensure guests feel comfortable and informed about their services
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front desk area

Scheduling & Appointments

  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments
  • Manage the daily service schedule efficiently
  • Communicate appointment details, preparation instructions, and aftercare information to guests

Payments & Transactions

  • Process payments including cash, credit cards, and gift cards
  • Balance the cash drawer and maintain accurate transaction records
  • Assist guests with memberships, packages, and promotions

Retail & Service Sales

  • Recommend appropriate services and retail products
  • Educate guests on treatments such as sugaring, spray tanning, halotherapy, and body wraps
  • Help meet monthly sales and retail goals

Administrative Support

  • Answer phone calls, emails, and online booking inquiries
  • Maintain accurate client records
  • Assist with inventory tracking for retail products and supplies

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or salon/spa front desk preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable with scheduling software and point-of-sale systems
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
  • Positive attitude and professional appearance
  • Basic sales skills or willingness to learn
