Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, highly skilled, and client-focused Senior Sugarist to deliver exceptional sugaring hair removal services and help maintain the highest service standards within our salon and wellness studio. This role involves performing advanced sugaring treatments, supporting newer team members, and helping ensure a consistently outstanding guest experience.

Our studio offers services including sugaring hair removal, sunless airbrush tanning, halotherapy (salt therapy), and marine body wraps. The ideal candidate has extensive sugaring experience, strong technical skills, and a passion for mentoring others while delivering exceptional results for clients.

Key Responsibilities

Advanced Client Services

• Perform professional sugaring hair removal services across all treatment areas including legs, arms, underarms, bikini, Brazilian, and facial areas
• Provide efficient, precise, and comfortable treatments using advanced sugaring techniques
• Customize services based on individual client skin type, hair growth patterns, and sensitivities
• Handle more complex or sensitive services that require higher skill and experience

Guest Experience

• Create a welcoming, professional, and relaxing environment for all guests
• Educate clients about sugaring, skin health, and proper pre-care and aftercare
• Build long-term relationships with clients and encourage repeat visits
• Maintain a consistently high level of service and professionalism

Team Leadership & Mentorship

• Provide guidance and support to junior sugarists or new team members
• Share best practices, techniques, and service standards
• Help maintain consistency in treatment quality across the team
• Assist management with training or onboarding when needed

Retail & Service Sales

• Recommend appropriate skincare and aftercare products to clients
• Educate guests about additional services such as spray tanning, halotherapy, and body wraps
• Support and contribute to monthly service and retail sales goals

Studio Maintenance & Sanitation

• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized treatment room
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and hygiene standards
• Ensure supplies and materials are stocked and ready for appointments

Qualifications

• Current esthetician license
• Extensive experience performing professional sugaring hair removal services
• Strong understanding of skin health, hair growth cycles, and advanced sugaring techniques
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high service standards
• Leadership or mentorship experience preferred
